1.What's the idea that's obsessing you now?

Trying to understand the cultural relevancy and social opportunities that can be engendered through emerging design technologies. We now understand the opportunities for novelty, performance, optimization, and delivery. How can they also inspire us and enable us to make the world a better place?

2.What would you like to create next ?

I would love an opportunity to work on a civic or cultural project for Los Angeles (my hometown).

3.Where do you go for inspiration ?

The basketball court. Hoops is my therapy. I find that exercise helps me tune things out and not think about anything, which ironically, helps me come up with better ideas after....

4.What is your favorite everyday object ?

My Ray-ban Wayfarer sunglasses...I never leave home without them.

5.What’s the last book that made you inspired?

"Claude Parent: Visionary Architect" edited by Chloe Parent the daughter of the seminal French polemicist. It's a deep dive into Parent's drawing archives of "oblique architecture" - a long standing trajectory of inspiration for much of my work.
